Job summary

Infoblox in Washington, DC, seeks a Global Public Policy and Strategy Manager on a 12-month contract to lead day-to-day U.S. federal government affairs and advocacy efforts affecting cybersecurity, networking, and critical digital infrastructure.

You will build bipartisan relationships with Congress staff, agency officials, and industry stakeholders, develop advocacy campaigns, and translate policy developments into actionable guidance for leadership.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in government affairs, public policy, legislative affairs, regulatory affairs, or related field.
• Deep experience in networking and/or cybersecurity with advocacy campaigns and influencing outcomes.
• Significant experience engaging with Congress, Executive Branch agencies, regulators, or related government stakeholders.
• Established bipartisan relationships across government, policy, and industry communities.
• Strong understanding of the Washington, DC policy environment and political landscape.
• Experience driving policy outcomes via partnerships with cyber centers, law enforcement, or critical-infrastructure stakeholders.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with policy/advocacy materials.
• Experience using AI-enabled research, analytics, or content-generation tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead U.S. federal government affairs and advocacy strategy across Congress, Executive Branch agencies, global partners, and regulators.
• Develop and execute advocacy campaigns that advance Infoblox's public policy objectives.
• Build and maintain bipartisan relationships with policymakers and staff in Washington, DC.
• Represent Infoblox in meetings, briefings, and discussions with government officials and trade associations.
• Monitor, analyze, and communicate legislative developments affecting cybersecurity and networking.
• Draft policy positions, comment letters, and advocacy materials.
• Lead policy engagement for collaboration with cyber centers and law-enforcement partners.
• Partner with Legal, Product, Security, and leadership to develop policy priorities.
• Engage with industry associations and policy coalitions to influence outcomes.
• Leverage AI-enabled tools to support policy research and advocacy planning.
