Qualifications

• 8+ years in public policy or related field with government engagement.
• Experience developing advocacy strategies on technology policy issues.
• Experience building relationships with senior government officials, trade associations or civil society.
• Experience drafting policy documents, regulatory submissions, or advocacy materials.
• Experience working across cross-functional teams to align policy positions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute external affairs strategies with government officials, regulatory bodies, industry coalitions and civil society.
• Represent Meta in engagement with policymakers, legislative staff and coalitions on content governance, privacy, competition and tech regulation.
• Lead cross-functional coordination across policy, legal, communications and product teams.
• Analyze legislative and regulatory developments and craft proactive policy responses.
• Draft and review policy submissions, testimony and advocacy materials for external audiences.
• Build and maintain relationships with senior officials, industry partners and advocates.
• Identify policy risks and opportunities, and develop mitigation with policy teams.
• Contribute to organizational strategy across multiple policy domains.
• Utilize AI tools to enhance policy analysis, stakeholder mapping and advocacy material development.
