Job summary

Siemens Software is seeking a senior engineering leader to guide a global prototyping team focused on cutting-edge EDA solutions in Fremont, California. You will own strategic direction, mentor engineers, and drive large-scale prototype deployments across diverse hardware platforms.

You will collaborate with customers and internal teams to translate complex challenges into scalable prototyping workflows, ensuring high-quality results while advancing our technology roadmap and deployment success.

Qualifications

• MS degree with 15+ years in prototyping/EDA leadership.
• Experience managing a team across multiple time zones.
• Proficiency in prototyping technologies including multi-FPGA compile for large scale systems.
• Willingness to travel domestically or internationally.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a global prototyping team with defined priorities and measurable goals.
• Engage with senior customer engineers and management to translate challenges into scalable prototyping solutions.
• Drive delivery of complex prototyping projects across hardware platforms and customer environments.
• Identify and communicate software, hardware, and methodological issues to product teams for timely resolution.
• Provide technical direction and hands-on guidance for large-scale applications.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and customer teams to improve product quality and deployment success.
• Promote advanced data-exchange methodologies enabling integration across heterogeneous systems.
• Prepare executive-level papers, roadmaps, and project reviews.
• Mentor junior and senior engineers and foster best practices.
• Lead highly complex projects independently with risk management and clear decision authority.
