Job summary

ExxonMobil in Baton Rouge, LA seeks a Project Engineer with 5–15 years of experience to lead complex capital projects. Based in Baton Rouge, you will plan, coordinate and oversee execution to meet safety, quality, schedule and budget goals.

You will implement project management processes, lead multi-disciplinary teams, and ensure compliance with standards while driving continuous improvement. Travel to project sites as needed and relocation is possible.

Qualifications

• 5-15 years of project management experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering required.
• Knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Implement project management processes in accordance with company requirements.
• Demonstrate SSHE leadership behaviors, actively participate in SSHE programs, reviews, and inspections.
• Ensure compliance with applicable standards, regulations and project requirements.
• Drive project performance by collaborating effectively with multi-disciplinary teams.
• Work with project management team, engineering disciplines and other project stakeholders to define project scope, plans and schedule.
• Monitor progress and provide status updates to support project management decisions.
• Lead development of project deliverables (e.g. plans, estimates).
