Job summary

MSD Malaysia seeks a GPAM intern to join our Global Project and Alliance Management team. The program runs 10–12 weeks, full‑time, in a hybrid work setup, with projects spanning drug development, clinical strategies, and value generation.

You’ll work closely with experienced Project Managers on real initiatives, learning to manage timelines, deliverables, risk assessments, and cross‑functional collaboration to move initiatives forward in a global pharmaceutical context.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program in public health, life sciences, technology, engineering or project management.
• Able to commit to full‑time, hybrid employment for 10–12 weeks beginning June 2027.
• Highly organized with attention to detail and ability to connect project details to larger objectives.

Responsibilities

• Manage time effectively, prioritize work, and estimate effort for tasks.
• Execute on deliverables to help the team meet goals and objectives.
• Support project managers and participate in inputs for decision making.
• Facilitate discussions with stakeholders to guide team direction.
• Learn and apply project management tools, templates, and processes.
• Contribute to risk assessments and mitigation plans.
• Communicate updates and risks clearly to team members and management.
• Serve as a point of contact for project information.
• Analyze data to summarize report updates and findings.
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve workflows.
• Lead an assigned project from initiation to close out and transition.
