Job summary

Bemidji State University (BSU) invites applicants to join our team as the Associate Director (AD) of International Program Center (IPC). The AD will oversee international student admissions, services, and scholar services, reporting to the IPC Director and serving BSU and NTC students.

The role leads six IPC areas: recruitment, admissions, services, scholar services, study abroad program management, and faculty-led development.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree plus three years of relevant experience or Bachelor’s Degree plus four years of relevant experience.
• Three years serving as a DSO and Alternate Responsible Officer (ARO) and compliance experience.
• Experience with F, M, and/or J visas and DHS/DOS regulations.
• Knowledge of SEVIS, I-20/DS-2019 processing and immigration procedures.

Responsibilities

• Lead international student admissions, services, and student compliance efforts.
• Oversee international scholar services for J-1 visa programs.
• Support other IPC areas including recruitment, study abroad advising, and program development.
• Train DSOs and AROs; participate in university and system committees.
