Job summary

Azurity Pharmaceuticals seeks a Global Program Director – Enablement to lead development and implementation of global cross‑functional project plans for pipeline and inline products. You will partner with senior leaders to drive launch readiness and support drug development and commercialization activities.

Expect to guide teams through stage gates, manage risks, and drive process improvements, reporting to the VP of EPMO. A bachelor’s degree and 6 years of pharma experience are required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and 6 years of relevant experience in a pharmaceutical company.
  • Outstanding project management capability, with Project Management certification preferred.
  • Ability to interact widely and effectively within the company across departments and management levels.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a business partner to Enablement function ELT members, driving accountability.
  • Partner with functional leads to develop high‑quality cross‑functional plans aligned with program strategy.
  • Ensure cross‑functional alignment and accountability across projects.
  • Manage launch readiness projects and guide teams through Stage Gate reviews.
  • Document issues, decisions and actions from Launch Readiness Teams and meetings.
  • Conduct risk management, scenario planning, and contingency plans.
  • Develop and direct operational activities to meet organizational goals.
  • Drive continuous improvement and integrate products into PLM processes.

Global Program Director – Enablement

The Global Program Director – Enablement will drive the development, creation and implementation of high‑quality, global, coordinated cross‑functional project plans for products in accordance with the program strategy. The role may also lead or participate in special department, cross‑functional, or team projects. As a business partner to the Chief Scientific Officer and Chief Medical Officer, the incumbent will work closely with VPs of Franchise Portfolio Management, Medical Strategists, and Commercial Brand Executives. The role will lead cross‑functional launch readiness activities and support drug development and commercialization activities of pipeline or inline products. The person will report to the Vice President of the Enterprise Performance Management Office (EPMO).

Principle Responsibilities
  • Serves as a business partner to Enablement function ELT members (Chief Scientific Officer & Chief Medical Officer), driving accountability through the organization to Azurity’s Management System
  • Partner with functional leads to develop high‑quality, integrated, cross‑functional plans aligned with the overall program strategy (product lifecycle and other strategic projects)
  • Ensure cross‑functional alignment and accountability
  • Manage launch readiness projects ensuring they achieve their intended targets, including leading the project team, updating R&D management on project status, ensuring up‑to‑date project data, and guiding projects through Stage Gate reviews
  • Document issues, decisions and action items of Launch Readiness Teams and ad hoc project team meetings
  • Conduct risk management, scenario planning and develop contingency and/or risk mitigation plans
  • Develop and direct operational activities and strategic planning to meet organizational goals
  • Drive continuous improvement in process
  • Integrate licensed/acquired products into the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) process
  • Maintain documentation repository across stage gates
Qualifications and Education Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree and 6 years of relevant experience in a pharmaceutical company
  • Outstanding project management capability, with Project Management certification preferred
  • Ability to interact widely and effectively within the company across departments and management levels
