Job summary

Azurity Pharmaceuticals is seeking a Global Program Director – Enablement to lead development and execution of global, cross-functional project plans for products in line with the program strategy.

The role partners with senior leaders, drives launch readiness activities, and supports drug development and commercialization strategies. Requires a Bachelor’s degree and 6+ years of pharma experience, with PM certification preferred, and strong cross-department collaboration.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; 6+ years in pharma preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a business partner to Enablement ELT members (CSO & CMO), driving accountability through Azurity’s Management System.
  • Partner with functional leads to develop high-quality, integrated cross‑functional plans aligned with the program strategy.
  • Ensure cross‑functional alignment and accountability across projects.
  • Manage launch readiness projects, lead teams, update R&D management on status, and guide through Stage Gate reviews.
  • Document issues, decisions, and action items of launch readiness teams and ad hoc project meetings.
  • Conduct risk management, scenario planning, and develop contingency/risk mitigation plans.
  • Drive continuous improvement in processes.
  • Integrate licensed/acquired products into the Product Lifecycle Management process.
  • Maintain documentation repository across stage gates.

Position: Global Program Director – Enablement

The Global Program Director – Enablement will drive the development, creation and implementation of high-quality, global, coordinated cross‑functional project plans for products in accordance with the program strategy. The role may lead or participate in special department, cross‑functional, or team projects. As a business partner to the Chief Scientific Officer and Chief Medical Officer, the director works closely with VPs of Franchise Portfolio Management, Medical Strategists, and Commercial Brand Executives. The role leads cross‑functional launch readiness activities and supports drug development and commercialization of pipeline or inline products. Reports to the Vice President, Enterprise Performance Management Office (EPMO).

Responsibilities
  • Serve as a business partner to Enablement ELT members (Chief Scientific Officer & Chief Medical Officer), driving accountability through Azurity’s Management System.
  • Partner with functional leads to develop high-quality, integrated, cross‑functional plans aligned with the overall program strategy (product lifecycle and other strategic projects).
  • Ensure cross‑functional alignment and accountability.
  • Manage launch readiness projects, leading project teams, updating R&D management on status, ensuring up-to-date project data, and guiding projects through Stage Gate reviews.
  • Document issues, decisions, and action items of launch readiness teams and ad hoc project team meetings.
  • Conduct risk management, scenario planning, and develop contingency and/or risk mitigation plans.
  • Drive continuous improvement in processes.
  • Integrate licensed/acquired products into the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) process.
  • Maintain documentation repository across stage gates.
Qualifications and Education
  • Bachelor’s degree and 6 years of relevant experience in a pharmaceutical company.
  • Outstanding project management capability, with Project Management certification preferred.
  • Ability to interact widely and effectively within the company across departments and management levels.
