REGENXBIO Inc. is seeking a Senior Director, Global Program Development Lead to guide cross-functional teams in drug development and commercialization within a dynamic, leadership-driven environment.

You will shape strategic direction, manage timelines and budgets, and collaborate with senior leadership to advance programs in a fast-paced, highly valued field. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (MS, PhD, MBA) preferred in life sciences or healthcare.
• 8+ years in pharmaceutical industry leadership with drug development programs.
• Experience with rare disease or gene therapy is highly desirable.
• Ability to work under pressure with tight timelines and changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead overall program strategy including an integrated Program Development Strategy and TPP.
• Drive cross-functional strategic integration with scientific rigor and market dynamics.
• Identify development challenges and define timelines, budgets, and risks.
• Support business development, due diligence, and joint steering committees.
• Engage KOLs, patient advocacy groups, and external experts.
• Refine external communications strategy and scientific messaging.
• Ensure high-quality, on-time deliverables within a matrix organization.
• Anticipate risks and develop contingency plans for program agility.
• Present data-driven recommendations to governance committees.
