Job summary

Crisis Prevention Institute, Inc is seeking a Global Professional Instructor to deliver CPI's core training and ancillary programs, ensuring a superior participant experience. The GPI acts as SME, supporting CPI Certified Instructors with prep, facilitation, and resources across departments to drive learning and performance.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's, First Aid/CPR, a valid Real ID, and have 2+ years in human services, with strong presentation and organizational skills and a willingness

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• First Aid/CPR certification.
• Valid driver's license/Real ID.
• Two or more years in human services.
• Ability to travel up to 90%.
• Strong organizational and customer-focused mindset.
• Strong presentation skills and engaging communication.
• Proficiency with MS Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams.
• Ability to demonstrate and perform physical intervention techniques.

Responsibilities

• Deliver CPI training programs, including ancillary programs, confidently and consistently.
• Apply adult-learning best practices to improve learner outcomes.
• Maintain proficiency in CPI training programs.
• Support Certified Instructors with prep, coaching and resources.
• Document training programs accurately and efficiently.
• Plan travel and track expenses for events.
• Coordinate with hotels, onsite facilities and CPI teams.
• Conduct special consultations, seminars and presentations.
• Research legislation and regulations related to violence prevention and behavior management.
• Advise on trends and issues across industries CPI serves.
• Engage with departments to understand the program lifecycle from sale to delivery.
• Participate in cross-functional upskilling to gain strategic insights.

The Role:

The Global Professional Instructor (GPI) is responsible for delivering CPI's highimpact core programming and ancillary programs while creating a superior customer experience for training participants. The GPI serves as a strategic training subject matter expert (SME) who understands the full life cycle of CPI offerings. This role supports CPI Certified Instructors (CIs) with preparation, facilitation, and classroom management, delivering training in standardized formats and collaborating across departments to drive learning, culture, and performance. The GPI interacts with program participants and their designees and maintains frequent communication both internally and externally.

What You Get to Do Every Day:

• Prepare and deliver CPI training programs, including ancillary programs, confidently and consistently while adapting to diverse learning needs and environments.
• Apply adultlearning best practices to improve learner outcomes.
• Maintain proficiency in CPI training programs.
• Serve as a resource for CIs by providing consultation, coaching, cotraining, and needed resources.
• Ensure accurate and efficient documentation of GPIled training programs.
• Plan, travel, and track expenses for all training events.
• Act as an intermediary between hotels, onsite facilities, and CPI internal teams.
• Conduct special consultations, seminars, and presentations.
• Research relevant legislation and regulations related to violence prevention and behavior management.
• Advise on emerging trends and issues within industries served by CPI programs.
• Engage with various departments to understand the full cycle of the program from sale to delivery.
• Participate in crossfunctional upskilling to gain strategic insight into department functions and interdependencies.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

You Need to Have:

• Bachelor's degree
• First Aid/CPR certification
• Valid driver's license/Real ID
• Two or more years of experience in the human services field
• Ability to travel up to 90%
• Strong organizational skills and a customerfocused, solutionoriented mindset
• Strong presentation skills, an engaging listening style, approachability, and the ability to meet the needs of a diverse participant population
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams
• Ability to demonstrate and perform specific physical intervention techniques
