Job summary

Emerson seeks a sustainability leader to drive sustainable product and packaging design across the company, reducing emissions and improving product circularity. You will manage the Product Carbon Footprint program and coordinate with supply chain teams to strengthen procurement and transportation practices.

The role requires expertise in Life Cycle Assessment, leadership experience, and the ability to influence global teams while delivering high-quality outputs in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Education in engineering, environmental science, physics, mathematics, materials science or a similar subject.
• 5-7 years of work experience in product design, or product management.
• Experience in a leadership or managerial role.
• Experience with Life Cycle Assessment / Product Carbon Footprint methodologies and tools.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now and in the future.

Responsibilities

• Lead sustainable product and packaging design strategies across Emerson.
• Oversee the Product Carbon Footprint program and reporting efforts.
• Collaborate with supply chain to improve sustainable procurement and transportation practices.
• Develop data governance and strategy for PCF calculations and deployment.
• Support cross-functional teams to drive decarbonization initiatives globally.
