Philips is seeking a Global Product Manager for Sustaining Hardware in the Ambulatory & Monitoring Diagnostics (AM&D) group. Qualifications

  • Experience in cardiology, ambulatory monitoring, connected devices, wearable sensors, manufacturing or supply chain, or service operations is a plus.

  • Monitor product health using KPIs like complaints, returns, reliability, service burden, and supply availability; drive corrective actions and transition planning.
  • Provide product expertise to Sales, Marketing, Service, Operations, and regional teams; maintain roadmap and status.

Global Product Manager, Sustaining Hardware

As our Global Product Manager for Sustaining Hardware within Philips Ambulatory & Monitoring Diagnostics (AM&D), you will be accountable for the ongoing lifecycle management of the MCT and Holter devices. These mature products remain critical to customers and operations as development progresses on the next-generation sensor and you will translate quality, regulatory, customer, service, supply, and operational needs into clear product priorities and coordinated execution that protects product performance, availability, compliance, and continuity.

Your role:
  • Own the sustaining lifecycle plan and prioritized backlog for MCT and Holter, balancing patient and customer impact, product risk, regulatory commitments, supply continuity, operational needs, cost, and business value. Lead product management activities for sustaining initiatives, including defining business and user needs, clarifying requirements and acceptance criteria, assessing impacts, and driving timely decisions through product lifecycle and change-control processes.
  • Coordinate cross-functional execution of product changes, including component or supplier changes, obsolescence remediation, manufacturing and service process changes, labeling, packaging, and IFU updates, reliability improvements, and cost-reduction initiatives. Serve as the product management lead for customer, field, service, quality, and operational issues; assess business impact, establish priority, align stakeholders on containment and long-term resolution, and support clear communications.
  • Partner with Quality and Regulatory on complaint trends, CAPA, risk management, post-market surveillance, audits, and regulatory documentation, ensuring product management inputs and decisions are complete, timely, and traceable.
  • Monitor product health using relevant performance indicators, including complaints, returns, reliability, service burden, supply availability, cost, and customer feedback; identify trends and drive corrective or improvement actions. Support supply continuity, lifecycle transition, and end-of-life planning, including demand and inventory considerations, component availability, regional impacts, customer transition needs, and alignment with next-generation sensor plans.

You’re the right fit if:
  • You’ve acquired 5+ years of experience in product management, including responsibility for regulated hardware or medical devices, required. You have experience managing mature or sustaining hardware products, including lifecycle planning, product changes, issue resolution, product performance, and continuity. Experience in cardiology, ambulatory monitoring, connected devices, wearable sensors, manufacturing or supply chain, or service operations is a plus.
  • Your skills include medical device quality systems and regulated product processes, such as design controls, risk management, CAPA, complaint handling and post-market surveillance, and regulatory change assessment. Skills also desired include product judgment, cross-functional leadership, and the ability to drive decisions without direct authority, manage multiple priorities, and communicate trade-offs to technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
  • You have a Bachelor’s degree, required, in Engineering, Product Management, Business, Marketing, or a related field; an MBA or advanced degree is preferred.
  • You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position.
  • You’re a hands-on product manager focused on disciplined lifecycle execution, product changes, issue resolution, and transition planning. You are able to travel to customer and company sites domestically and internationally; travel is not expected to exceed 10-20%.
How we work together

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.

Philips Transparency Details

The pay range for this position in Cambridge, MA is $105,000 to $169,000.

The pay range for this position in Malvern, PA is $99,000 to $158,000.

The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.

In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered. Employees are eligible to participate in our comprehensive Philips Total Rewards benefits program, which includes a generous PTO, 401k (up to 7% match), HSA (with company contribution), stock purchase plan, education reimbursement and much more. At Philips, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each case.
