Job summary

Amphenol Communications Solutions (ACS) in Etters, PA is seeking a Senior Global Product Line & Marketing Manager to own the Cable Backplane Systems portfolio. You will lead a team of Product Line Managers, set strategic direction, drive revenue growth, and expand into new markets while ensuring cross-functional execution.

The role requires strong financial acumen, leadership, and collaborative skills to work with Sales, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in product management or marketing within electrical/electronic manufacturing.
• 3+ years leading product management teams.
• 5+ years in direct customer interface relationships.
• Experience in high-speed interconnect or cable solutions preferred.
• Strong forecasting, pricing, and ROI skills.

Responsibilities

• Own global P&L for the Cable Backplane Systems portfolio and drive growth.
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Product Line Managers.
• Define product strategy, roadmaps, and go-to-market plans.
• Translate market and customer needs into product definitions and prioritized development initiatives.
• Drive new business development in new markets and customers while expanding share in existing accounts.
• Develop competitive analyses and pricing strategies to maximize market share and profitability.
• Partner with global Sales and Field Application Engineering for design wins and customer penetration.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Quality for successful launches.
• Lead lifecycle management including rationalization, PCNs, and portfolio optimization.
• Drive cost reduction and capacity planning alignment; forecast bookings and revenue; manage pricing strategy.
• Represent the product line at industry events and support marketing initiatives.
• Travel domestically and internationally, including Asia, up to 20% or more.
