Job summary

Northern Trust is seeking a Financial Consultant in Chicago to contribute to financial analysis and reporting within the Global Procurement Project Management Office (PMO). This role will involve supporting financial planning, forecasting, and transformation efforts across procurement initiatives.

The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a Bachelor's degree in a related field, and 3–5 years of financial analysis experience. A robust benefits package, including retirement benefits and a discretionary bonus program, will be offered.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with attention to detail.
• Working knowledge of financial modeling, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Basic understanding of procurement processes, sourcing, contracts, or savings methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Support development and maintenance of financial models, forecasts, and cost analyses for procurement programs.
• Perform variance analysis and basic scenario analysis to support program reviews.
• Prepare standardized financial reporting and dashboards for program reviews.
• Assist with annual planning and in-year forecasting for procurement initiatives.
