Job summary

JBS USA is seeking a Global Procurement Analyst to support sourcing and management of chemical producers and service providers. You will assist in category strategy creation, supplier identification, negotiation analytics, and building supplier relationships to ensure high service and quality.

The role collaborates with IT to update supplier data in SAP and works with multiple internal teams to optimize procurement processes and cost savings.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field (supply chain, finance or business) preferred.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

  • Support global procurement processes and supplier selection to align with category strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Food Safety, Operations, Sanitation, Sustainability) to qualify materials and suppliers.
  • Conduct market research to optimize sourcing decisions and inform stakeholders of market impacts.
  • Assist in implementing risk mitigation strategies and developing secondary supply options.
  • Facilitate supplier negotiations and draft master service agreements and SOWs.

Global Procurement Analyst

Purpose and Scope/General Summary:Reporting to theGlobalProcurement Category ManageroverFacilities Servicesand Chemicals, theProcurementAnalystis responsible forsupporting the sourcing and management ofglobal chemical producers and service providersand ensures all business requirements are accounted for in category strategies. TheProcurementAnalyst role is critical in supporting sourcing through involvement in category strategy creation,supplier identification,selection, and negotiationanalyticsto ensure the highest level of service and qualityofsupply. TheProcurementAnalystwillbuild strongworkingrelationships with key suppliers and internal stakeholdersthroughfacilitatingthe day-to-day operations of the category.

Responsibilities
  • Support variousbusinessunits and the GlobalProcurement teams in the sourcing process to ensure category strategies and supplier selection conform to business requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams, includingFood Safety and Quality Assurance,Operations,Sanitation, andSustainabilityto qualify materials and suppliers,identifyvalue creation opportunities, and lead sourcing initiatives.
  • Conductinternal and external market research analysis tooptimizesourcing decisions and keep stakeholders informed of key marketimpacts.
  • Assistin theimplementationof risk mitigation strategies for critical supplies and servicesby developingsecondarysupply options,favorable contract language,andnew opportunities.
  • Facilitate supplier negotiations, author master service/supplyagreementsandstatements of work (SOWs) for execution.
  • Interact with plant operations to ensureoptimalcomplianceofnegotiated contracts.
  • Performspendanalyticsandidentifysourcing leverstomeet cost reduction initiatives.
  • Work collaboratively with IT Teams to update supplier informationin SAP.
  • Gather and analyzeinformationtobuildreports andpresentationsfor SeniorLeadership.
  • Maintain supplier scorecards and routinelysolicitperformance feedbackfrom stakeholders.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management,Finance,Businessor related fieldpreferred
  • Ability to effectively interact in a cross-functional team environment
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Effective written and oral communications skills
  • Understanding of supply/commodity markets a plus
  • High levelofproficiencyin Microsoft Office suite, includingExcel,Word,andPowerPoint

Compensation and Benefits

The applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits:

  • Benefits:Vision, Medical, and Dental coverage begin after60 daysof employment;
  • PaidTime Off:sick leave, vacation, and 6 companyobservedholidays;
  • 401(k):companymatchbeginsafter the first year of service and followsthe companyvesting schedule;
  • Base salaryrange of$58,000-$70,000;and
  • Incentive Pay:This position is eligible toparticipatein the Company’s annual bonusplan,the amount of bonus varies and is subject to the standard terms and conditions of the incentive program;and
