Global Process Lead – Product Costing and Inventory Valuation (PCIV)

Join us as the Global Process Lead – Product Costing and Inventory Valuation (PCIV) at Solventum.

About the Role

This position oversees Solventum’s product cost accounting functions, including developing standard costs, analyzing manufacturing variances, and managing inventory valuation to ensure accurate financial reporting. The role emphasizes collaboration with cross-functional teams to optimize costs and improve accounting practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and enforce procedures for cost and inventory calculations, including annual re-costing.
  • Maintain cost accounting and inventory management systems.
  • Monitor cost trends for optimization opportunities.
  • Support month-end close activities and serve as a process expert for shared service migrations.
  • Lead the month-end close process and analyze variances for accurate reporting.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting with 7+ years of experience, or high school diploma with 11+ years of experience in relevant environments.
  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA and US GAAP.
  • Preferred: Master’s degree, CPA, audit experience, systems implementation, project management skills, and strong communication abilities.
Additional Details

Location: Remote, United States. Travel may be up to 15%. No relocation assistance. Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Compensation

Range: $160,284 - $195,903 annually, including base salary and potential incentives.
