Job summary

Amphenol Communications Solutions in the United States seeks a seasoned Process Engineer to lead and support product and manufacturing process transfers across global facilities. You will develop transfer plans, support startup and ramp-up, and drive broad continuous improvement across sites.

The ideal candidate has hands-on manufacturing experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to collaborate with diverse teams worldwide. This is a hybrid role with global travel expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• At least 5 years of experience as a Process/Manufacturing Engineer in a plant environment.
• Experience supporting manufacturing processes, equipment, validation, and ramp-up.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Continuous-improvement mindset with practical manufacturing solutions.
• Strong project-management, organizational, and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel internationally about 50%.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for relocation of processes between global factories.
• Develop transfer plans, qualification strategies, and readiness requirements.
• Coordinate with engineering, operations, quality and other teams.
• Support equipment installation, startup, validation and ramp-up.
• Troubleshoot process issues to improve quality and efficiency.
• Monitor processes to ensure safety, cost, and production targets.
• Drive continuous improvement across multiple sites.
• Replicate best practices across facilities.
• Provide technical guidance to cross-functional teams.
• Prepare presentations, project reviews, and reports to leadership.
• Maintain clear documentation and communicate risks and actions.
