Job summary

Day Pitney's Private Client Department (PCD) is seeking an associate with a minimum of 5 years of international tax and estate planning experience to join our growing team. This position can be based in any of Day Pitney's offices.

The successful candidate will advise on international tax matters and cross-border planning for high-net-worth families, developing sophisticated estate planning and tax-efficient restructuring solutions.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of demonstrated experience in sophisticated international tax and estate planning matters.
• Excellent technical, professional and client service skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication and advocacy skills.
• Team-oriented with an emphasis on collaboration.
• Effective and efficient problem-solving capabilities with the ability to work independently and proactively, and to develop creative solutions to meet client and team needs.
• Member in good standing in the jurisdiction you plan to practice (required).

Responsibilities

• Manage complex international planning matters and advise clients on cross-border strategies.
• Collaborate effectively with colleagues across practice areas to deliver client solutions.
• Provide practical, business-oriented advice to clients with global interests.
• Develop tax-efficient restructuring and estate planning solutions for high-net-worth individuals.
• Assist with foreign trusts and cross-border estate administration as needed.
