Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 5-7 years experience in publishing, print, or project management.
• Deep knowledge of all printing and prepress processes; leadership in PrePress/Print/PM.
• Creative problem solving in a fast-paced production environment.
• Ability to multi-task on several projects with conflicting deadlines.
• Excellent communication and negotiating skills.
• Willingness to travel to printer locations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Work with global printers and packaging sites to obtain specs and relay site requirements.
• Interface with Brand Design to discuss design intent vs printer capabilities.
• Partner with Packaging Engineering to understand structures and die lines.
• Host pre-production meetings between third-party prepress suppliers and printers.
• Validate graphics via proofs or trials and supervise print trials and first runs.
• Review and approve production proofs with Brand Design.
• Determine spectral values for colors and distribute color standards.
• Track project workload and time spent within required timeframes in internal systems.
• Maintain a filing system of all production elements for each brand.
• Complete trainings on time and drive continuous production improvements.
