Barclays is seeking a Collateral Management Analyst – Prime Margins to help safeguard exposure and manage margin calls for prime brokerage clients. You will work with external clients and internal teams across Prime Brokerage, Settlements, and Operations to monitor exposure and ensure proper collateral is collected.

The role emphasizes risk management, attention to detail, and exceptional client service as part of a global organization with teams in Whippany and beyond.

Qualifications

• Experience in financial services operations.
• Middle office exposure.
• Knowledge of risk and controls.
• Experience with collateral management is preferred.
• Knowledge of prime brokerage processes.
• Experience with margins, cash wires and payments.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day processing, reviewing, reporting, trading and issue resolution.
• Collaborate with bank-wide teams to align operational processes.
• Identify areas for improvement and provide recommendations for process optimization.
• Develop and implement operational procedures and controls to mitigate risks and maintain efficiency.
• Create reports and presentations on performance and communicate findings to senior stakeholders.
• Identify industry trends and adopt best practices in banking operations.
• Participate in projects to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.
