PACCAR is seeking a Project Lead Engineer for Global Powertrain Validation to lead and coordinate validation activities across the product lifecycle. This role provides technical leadership, oversees hardware/software validation, and drives DVPs, software releases, and issue resolution.

Strong communication to engineers and executives is essential. Ideal candidates have 7+ years in automotive product development, powertrain understanding, and excellent organization and planning skills.

Formación

• 7+ years of product development within automotive sector or related experience.
• Understanding of powertrain systems and product development processes.
• Outstanding organizational, planning and tracking skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate and guide activities following agreed procedures to ensure timely availability of results aligned with agreed specification.
• Responsible for ensuring department FRACAS entries are completed, and ensuring required activities for resolution are completed.
• Ensure alignment on decision making in the project core team so deliverables align with project plan.
• Define, track, and analyze KPI's (test coverage, pass/fail rates, inflow vs outflow).
• Initiate validation plan development and risk analysis for priority.
• Identify discrepancies between direction given by validation manager and project management.
• Ensure knowledge transfer between specialists and team members to utilize best practices.
• Set Engineering Team meeting agenda for topics of awareness or escalation.
• Up to 20% of travel (domestic and international).
