Job summary

Vylor, Inc. is seeking a Global Portfolio Leader to manage the annual capital budget forecast, cash flow analysis, and KPI tracking from Johnston, IA. This hybrid role reports to the Global Engineering Leader and supports governance, reporting, and capital project closeout.

The position requires a engineering or finance background with 10+ years in portfolio planning and strong PowerBI and MS Office skills. Visa sponsorship is not available; in-office Tue–Thu with remote Mon & Fri.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of portfolio planning/prioritization, lifecycle management, and financial justification.
  • Proficiency with PowerBI and MS Office tools; project management software.
  • Strong data analysis, forecasting, and dashboarding skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead cross-functional teams to achieve capital plan financial targets.
  • Manage monthly capital budget reconciliation and cash flow plan.
  • Monitor KPIs, budgets, schedules, and risk profile.
  • Develop dashboards and reports for senior leadership, including forecasts and risk assessments.
  • Maintain depreciation projections and report financially as required.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Global Portfolio Leader at our Johnston IA location. This role will facilitate and deliver the annual capital budget monthly forecast, including capital addition results, refreshed monthly cash flow analysis, KPI’s, outcome/success metrics, program governance, and standard monthly reporting. These responsibilities report through the Global Engineering Leader.

This is a hybrid role working in-office Tuesday–Thursday; remote Monday and Friday.

What You’ll Do:
  • Lead cross-functional teams to achieve capital plan financial targets.
  • Manage the monthly capital budget reconciliation and cash flow plan, including ownership of tools to support the process
  • Monitor KPIs, budgets, schedules, and risk profile.
  • Executive reporting: develop dashboards and reports for senior leadership, including forecasts, risk assessments, and strategic portfolio recommendations
  • Maintain capital depreciation projections and report financially as required.
  • Prepare Next-on and First-off project recommendations.
  • Assist with capital authorization processes as outline in corporate policies, including assisting with supplemental authorizations.
  • Assist with project lessons learned and other post budget cycle analysis.
  • Support the global team to financially close capital projects in accordance with corporate accounting requirements.
  • Refresh global Estimated Replacement Value at the site level bi-annually.
Education:
  • Degree in engineering, finance, or equivalent; other degrees with relevant experience considered.
What Skills You Need:
  • 10+ Years of experience in portfolio planning/prioritization, lifecycle management, and financial justification.
  • PowerBI, Microsoft Office productivity tools, Microsoft Project, Smart Sheets.
  • Strong data analysis, forecasting and dashboarding skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, with the ability to translate complex information for diverse audiences.
