Job summary

PROBAT is seeking a Project Manager (m/f/d) for Plant Construction at our Emmerich am Rhein site. You will guide national and international plant projects from planning to successful commissioning, leading diverse teams and coordinating trades with our Project Management Office support.

The role requires an engineering degree or qualified technician, strong English, and willingness to travel internationally. The position offers a modern, international project environment and flat hierarchies.

Qualifications

• Successfully completed degree in Mechanical Engineering, Plant Engineering, or Industrial Engineering, or qualification as a Technician (m/f/d) with relevant professional experience.
• Very good written and spoken English skills; knowledge of additional languages is advantageous.
• Confident handling of Microsoft 365.
• Independent and structured way of working with strong communication and assertiveness.
• Willingness to travel internationally.

Responsibilities

• Manage national and international plant engineering projects from planning through to acceptance.
• Lead project teams and coordinate involved trades, disciplines, and partners.
• Be the central contact person for customers in technical and commercial matters.
• Plan and monitor installation and commissioning processes with support from the Project Management Office.
• Identify optimization potential and implement improvement measures.
