Job summary

Gulf Companies in Houston seeks a Project Manager with bottom‑line responsibility for mid‑size to large pipeline projects. You will oversee planning and execution across engineering, procurement, and construction, including domestic and international work, with authority over schedules, budgets, and staffing.

Qualifications

• BS degree in a relevant discipline with 15–20+ years, including at least 10 years in project management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience dealing with clients.
• Knowledge of engineering software programs.
• Strong leadership and motivational skills.

Responsibilities

• Review Gulf procedures and work instructions for PM group personnel.
• Lead proposal development and define scope, execution plan, and labor estimates.
• Direct project schedule, budget, manpower, and execution plan for senior management review.
• Monitor expenses and ensure compliance with procedures.
• Manage client relationships and coordinate with business development for future projects.
• Serve as primary client contact for project communications.
• Conduct monthly project review meetings with senior management.
• Direct and evaluate project team members.
• Ensure staffing aligns with project needs.
• Review and approve drawings, specifications and quotations.
• Oversee training and employee evaluations.
• Be fully responsible for the success of the project.
