Job summary

SanegeneBio is seeking an experienced Nephrologist‑trained physician‑scientist to lead the medical direction of a global Phase 3 kidney disease program. You will shape protocol design, study execution, data readout, and regulatory submission, serving as the medical voice to internal teams, CROs, investigators, and regulators.

Qualifications

• MD (or equivalent) from an accredited institution.
• At least 10 years of professional experience including nephrology specialty training and 2+ years in industry.
• 2+ years of clinical practice as a physician.
• Proven track record as Medical Lead on development programs.
• Fluent in English, written and spoken; Chinese a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as medical lead for the global Phase 3 trial with accountability for medical and scientific integrity.
• Shape the clinical development plan, protocol, SAP, and endpoint rationale; contribute to eligibility criteria and dose selection.
• Provide ongoing medical input on study conduct and feasibility; oversee medical monitoring and safety reviews.
• Lead or support regulatory interactions (FDA/EMA/NMPA); manage external relations with KOLs and investigators.
