Job summary

CVS Health offers a structured internship for Non-US Accredited Foreign Graduates to complete required US internship hours and progress toward Pharmacist licensure.

Under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist, interns will gain hands-on experience in patient care, regulatory compliance, and daily pharmacy operations, during an 18-month learning plan.

Qualifications

• Foreign Graduates from Non-US accredited schools pursuing internship to complete US licensure.
• Must obtain Pharmacist licensure in the state within 120 days of completing US Intern hours.

Responsibilities

• Customer service: assist pharmacy and front-store customers with questions and concerns.
• Maintain HIPAA confidentiality and protect patient information and comply with CVS SOPs.
• Process prescriptions, labeling, and dispensing under supervision; handle inventory and workflow management.
• Lead and develop Pharmacy Support Staff, support pharmacist in dispensing and monitoring compliance.
• Engage in counseling when appropriate and coordinate with healthcare professionals for optimal patient care.
