Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Non-US Accredited Foreign Graduate for a pharmacy internship track designed to complete required US intern hours and licensure. The program lasts up to 18 months with guided learning across patient care, practice management, leadership, and education.

Under supervision, you will impact patient safety, regulatory compliance, and quality assurance while preparing for pharmacist licensure in the United States.

Qualifications

• Foreign Graduate from a Non-US Accredited college or school of pharmacy prior to starting Non-US Accredited Foreign Graduate Training Program at CVS.
• Pharmacist licensure in the state within 120 days of completing US Intern hours.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in store and drive-thru in a courteous, professional manner.
• Assist pharmacy and front store customers with questions and concerns.
• Answer telephone with a warm, friendly greeting.
• Help colleagues to maximize customer satisfaction and remove obstacles.
• Perform register transactions including cash, check and charge.
• Engage with customers and create heartfelt, personalized moments during visits.
• Maintain patient confidentiality under HIPAA and company policy.
• Comply with federal and state laws, CVS SOPs, and licensure requirements.
• Adhere to CVS workflow and maintain pharmacy standards at all times.
• Process prescriptions, label, and manage third-party rejections and claims.
• Input/retrieve information from the workstation and manage inventory/replenishment.
• Deliver health care services per state regulation and approved certifications.
• Support supervising pharmacist and train Pharmacy Support Staff.
• Coordinate training, recognize team success, and complete required trainings.
