Job summary

Roblox is seeking a Director of Product for Payments and Wallet based in San Mateo, CA, hybrid with Tue–Thurs in office. You will own end-to-end strategy, launch banking and wallet products, and lead P&L for a global payments business.

Partner with Engineering, Finance, Legal, Risk, and Business Development to scale revenue while maintaining regulatory compliance. Strong background in financial products, risk management, and cross-border payments is required, along with 10+ years in product

Qualifications

• 10+ years of product management experience, including 3+ years leading and growing product teams.
• Experience launching a banking, wallet, or financial product from 0 to 1 and growing it into a meaningful business.
• Direct P&L ownership with demonstrated revenue growth and cost management.
• Experience building and scaling global payments products, including cross-border money movement.
• Risk management and fraud expertise, including KYC/AML and regulatory compliance in financial products.
• Technical fluency to partner with engineering on scalable architecture.
• Data-driven approach with metrics, experimentation, and A/B testing.
• Strong written and verbal communication to executive audiences and teams.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end product strategy and roadmap for Payments and Wallet.
• Launch new banking and wallet products from 0 to 1 and scale to revenue.
• Own P&L with revenue and margin targets and cost considerations.
• Build, lead, and develop a team of product managers.
• Ensure operational excellence for risk and payment operations.
• Collaborate with Finance, Legal, Compliance, Risk, and Business Development for international expansion.
• Define strategy for payments risk and fraud management.
