Circle is seeking an Engineering Manager, Payments in the United States to lead a team responsible for onboarding, payment orchestration, and bulk processing. You’ll drive reliability, security, and financial correctness while building a high-performing engineering organization and partnering with stakeholders across Circle.

You’ll own delivery for cross-border payouts, managed stablecoin settlement, and integrations with banks and PSPs.

Formación

• 7+ years of software engineering experience with 2+ years in leading teams.
• Experience designing and operating distributed backend systems in production.
• Experience building or operating payments, banking, or financial transaction systems.
• Strong architecture reviews, system design, and code-level guidance.
• Proficiency in Java, Go, or Kotlin.
• Experience recruiting, coaching, and performance management of engineers.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration with Product, Compliance, Risk, and external partners.

Responsabilidades

• Lead day-to-day execution of the Payments engineering team, including planning and delivery of initiatives.
• Provide technical and architectural direction for payment orchestration, ledgers, and reconciliations.
• Collaborate with Product, Compliance, Risk, and Solutions Engineering on roadmaps and cross-border payouts.
