Job summary

InterDigital is seeking an experienced Patent Operations Paralegal to join the company's Portfolio Operations team, which supports the management of InterDigital's worldwide patent portfolio of more than 30,000 patents and applications. This role focuses on patent preparation and prosecution support, requiring strong attention to detail and project management skills.

Based in Conshohocken, PA or Wilmington, DE, you will liaise with internal teams and outside counsel to ensure timely processing

Qualifications

• 5+ years of patent preparation and prosecution experience in US, PCT and foreign jurisdictions.
• Experience with IP management software; IPfolio preferred.
• Bachelor's degree and/or paralegal certificate.
• Experience with Legal Tracker is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support the Patents team to manage the worldwide patent portfolio.
• Process invention disclosures and coordinate prosecution workflows with internal and external counsel.
• Liaise between internal teams, outside counsel, and vendors to ensure process adherence.
• Maintain business data in the IP Management System and update records.
• Assist with acquisition or sale of patent portfolios and approve prosecution invoices.
• Support special projects for the Patents department.
