Job summary

AST SpaceMobile is building a global cellular broadband network in space, enabling standard mobile devices to connect directly. The Partner Technical Lead will drive integration, enablement, and deployment with strategic partners, combining deep RAN expertise with strong customer-facing leadership.

The role covers governance, deployment readiness, and ongoing service optimization across multi-domain ecosystems, with heavy collaboration across engineering, operations, and product teams.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in wireless telecommunications, network engineering, or customer technical leadership roles.
• Experience with LTE and/or 5G integration, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Proven success managing technical relationships with operators, enterprises, or strategic partners.
• Experience supporting large-scale wireless network deployments and service enablement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical contact for telecommunications partners during integration and deployment.
• Lead technical reviews, workshops, readiness assessments, and launch planning discussions.
• Communicate technical requirements, dependencies, risks, and timelines to stakeholders.
• Manage technical escalations and drive resolution of partner-impacting issues.
• Support deployment and validation of wireless network services across multiple network domains.
• Coordinate feature enablement, system configuration, testing, and operational readiness.
• Validate network performance, service functionality, and key operational metrics.
• Provide technical guidance on network architecture, feature implementation, and optimization strategies.
• Lead root cause analysis for complex network, system, and service issues.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, and product teams to resolve defects.
• Develop troubleshooting procedures, technical documentation, and corrective action plans.
• Track deployment milestones and readiness criteria; prepare technical reports and dashboards.
• Present updates to leadership; support continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
• Travel as needed to partner meetings, testing, and deployments.
