Job summary

FANUC America Corporation in Michigan is seeking a results-driven Project Manager to lead PaintShop project execution from PO receipt to close-out, ensuring KPIs and customer satisfaction. You will coordinate engineering, manufacturing, purchasing and planning, driving schedule, budget, and risk management across global teams.

The role requires strong leadership, ERP experience, and a track record in automotive automation projects. Extensive travel up to 75% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years in automotive automation systems with subcontractor/installation experience.
• Experience with ERP systems.
• Proven ability to lead project personnel and subcontractors.
• Cost estimating and financial management skills.
• Strong negotiation skills.
• Solid knowledge of project management methodologies.
• Proficiency with MS Project.

Responsibilities

• Manage, direct and lead project team members including design engineering, process engineering, purchasing, manufacturing, installation engineering and sub-contractors.
• Responsible for profit, cash flow, on-time delivery and quality of supplied equipment.
• Develop schedule, resource plan and procurement plan.
• Forecast project financial performance.
• Manage project changes and protect FANUC from financial risk.
• Ensure clear communication within the FANUC team, suppliers and customers.
