Qualifications

• First level university degree or equivalent; advanced degree preferred.
• Typically 6–10 years experience in Engg or Mfg industry.
• MS in Engineering and/or MBA with 8–10 years in global commodity management.
• Direct experience in commodity management of packaging or mechanical commodities.
• Strong program management skills and leadership ability.

Responsibilities

• Handle assigned commodities by creating and delivering sourcing strategies and drive supplier excellence.
• Understand HPE needs and drive strategic partnerships to enable well aligned investments.
• Align suppliers and HPE Networking technology roadmaps through understanding of market trends and requirements.
• Understand industry trends in sustainable packaging and compliance and partner with leading suppliers for green packaging.
• Lead supplier selection criteria and AVL management to enable optimized sourcing.
• Negotiate NDA, Master Purchase Agreements, SoW and Joint Development Agreements.
• Scorecard suppliers and lead business reviews with Juniper and Supplier Executives.
• Drive cost reductions and identify sourcing opportunities; negotiate world-class pricing and terms.
• Drive productivity gains and value engineering with multi-functional project teams.
• Understand current market pricing and dynamics of the competitive landscape.
• Support development from suppliers to enable innovative products aligning with HPE Networking needs.
• Mitigate risks in corporate strategy, supplier financials, and operations.
