Job summary

AMDA College of the Performing Arts (Hollywood/Los Angeles or New York City campuses) is seeking a Director of Outreach and Recruitment to lead domestic and international recruitment efforts, manage outreach teams, and oversee travel and events. The role reports to enrollment leadership and requires strong cross-functional collaboration.

The candidate will develop territory strategies, monitor performance with CRM data, and partner with campus leadership to align enrollment objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
• Five or more years of admissions, outreach, recruitment, or enrollment experience.
• Experience supervising and developing team members.
• Record of implementing territory- or market-level strategies with measurable results.
• Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and overseeing travel budgets.
• Strong analytical, relationship-building, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain AMDA’s domestic and international outreach strategy and territory planning.
• Lead and develop a full-time domestic outreach team and part-time event facilitators.
• Oversee recruitment travel, auditions, campus events, and outreach travel logistics.
• Manage outreach budget and collaborate with Admissions, Marketing, Records, and Finance.
• Partner with institutional leadership on annual recruitment planning and market investments.
• Represent AMDA at festivals, conventions, college fairs, and counselor events.
• Provide regular performance updates to AMDA leadership and adjust strategies as needed.
