Job summary

SharkNinja is seeking a Financial Analyst, FP&A – Global OpEx to forecast and analyze operating expenses, focusing initially on R&D OpEx. This role partners with cost center owners and leaders across regions to deliver accurate forecasts and insightful variance analysis for disciplined OpEx management.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting/Economics and 2–5 years in FP&A or OpEx/budget management, with strong Excel and Power BI skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field required.
• 2–5 years of FP&A, corporate finance, or OpEx/budget management experience.
• Strong Excel skills, financial modeling, and data visualization with Power BI.

Responsibilities

• Support global OpEx budgeting, forecasting, and monthly/quarterly cycles.
• Consolidate forecasts across regions and departments with cost center owners.
• Analyze actuals vs. budget/forecast and provide commentary for leadership.
• Develop models to assess impact of initiatives, run-rate changes, and contracts.
• Create scenario analyses for OpEx reductions and discretionary spend trade-offs.
• Drive improvements in OpEx forecasting and reporting using tools like Adaptive Insights, Oracle, Snowflake, Excel, and Power BI.
• Support purchase orders, contracts, accruals, and ensure compliance with controls.
