Job summary

3M seeks an experienced Operations Program Manager to lead the program at contract manufacturing partners in China, ensuring product launch readiness, factory execution, capacity planning, and risk management. You will align Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Procurement and Planning to deliver introductions and sustain excellence throughout the lifecycle.

The role requires bilingual Mandarin/English, 5+ years in related PM roles, and the ability to travel and maintain on-site

Qualifications

• Bilingual Mandarin Chinese and English required.
• 5+ years in Operations Program Management, SCM, Manufacturing Operations, or Contract Manufacturing Management.
• Proven experience leading NPIs, transfers, ramp-ups, or complex supply chain programs.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing operations, capacity and material planning.
• Experience managing cross-functional programs across geographies.
• Strong PM, stakeholder management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead readiness for NPIs and capacity expansion at contract manufacturing sites.
• Drive factory readiness reviews covering manpower, materials, processes, equipment, and capacity.
• Partner with Manufacturing Engineering and Quality to ensure builds, pilots, qualifications, and ramp-up.
• Identify operational risks impacting launch schedules and drive mitigation plans.
• Own daily operational engagement with contract manufacturers to align schedules and capacity.
• Provide concise executive-level communication regarding project status, risks, and decisions.
