GLOBAL OPERATIONS MANAGER (COUNTRY LAUNCH)

Starlink aims to provide high-speed broadband worldwide. This role combines business planning, analysis, decision-making, and strategy, directly supporting Starlink's leadership. The Global Operations team is involved in daily operations, supporting both immediate execution and long-term planning. Team members analyze data, provide recommendations, and lead cross-functional decision-making and implementation.

Responsibilities:
  1. Develop comprehensive execution plans to implement market requirements for initial market access and rapid growth of operations.
  2. Guide planning and resource management for specific verticals within Starlink, including developing business models.
  3. Identify initiatives for improving Starlink's business outlook, including developing, tracking, and executing business initiatives with leadership.
  4. Identify and lead implementation of process and system enhancements to improve handoffs, execution, customer experience, and scalability, while balancing resources.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external resources to ensure compliance and build strong networks.
  6. Support and educate internal stakeholders on market requirements and timeframes to achieve company objectives.
Basic Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor's degree in STEM, business, economics, or finance.
  2. 4+ years in business operations, project management, or strategic planning.
  3. 1+ year experience abroad or with international operations.
  4. 1+ year experience with Excel and/or Python.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
  1. Success working with competing priorities and tight schedules.
  2. Experience leading complex operational and strategic initiatives.
  3. Ability to independently define and manage projects.
  4. Experience with SQL and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker).
  5. Proficiency in programming languages like Python, Javascript, R, HTML, XML, CSS, Ruby.
  6. Strong communication skills, especially with senior leaders.
Additional Requirements:
  1. Willingness to travel up to 50%.
  2. Willingness to work extended hours and weekends.
Compensation and Benefits:

The salary range for the Global Operations Manager position is $115,000 - $155,000 per year. Actual compensation will depend on experience, skills, and education. Benefits include stock options, bonuses, comprehensive health coverage, 401(k), disability and life insurance, paid parental leave, paid vacation, holidays, and employee shuttles from Seattle to the SpaceX Redmond office.
