Job summary

SoFi in Frisco, TX is seeking a Strategic Finance partner for Global Operations to drive forecasting and budgeting, linking operational drivers to KPI insights and investment tradeoffs.

You will collaborate with accounting, FP&A, and data teams to provide forward-looking guidance, support monthly close, and present to senior leadership with clear, data-driven recommendations. Proficiency with Excel, Workday, SQL, and AI tools is required.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in financial services, operations, FP&A or related finance role.
• Experience preparing and presenting information to senior decision-makers.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Advanced technical proficiency with Excel, Workday, Google Suite, SQL; comfortable with AI tools.
• Collaborative with cross-functional teams; ability to build relationships.
• Attention to detail, inquisitive, adaptable to unstructured problems.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate annual, quarterly, and intra-quarter financial forecasting for SoFi’s Operations Function.
• Support monthly close and budget vs. actual analyses with accounting and FP&A teams.
• Decide on deviations from forecasted plans based on financial and strategic trade-offs.
• Collaborate with Operations and FP&A to provide forward-looking guidance on performance.
• Work with Data and FP&A to monitor KPIs and develop actionable insights.
• Prepare materials for management discussions on major financial indicators (demand planning, budget vs. actuals).
• Prioritize Initiatives and size impacts on volumes, revenues, and profit.
