Job summary

OmniOn Power Inc. is seeking a Finance Director for Global Operations to lead finance across manufacturing sites in Asia, Latin America, and the U.S. located at our Plano, TX HQ.

You will partner with plant leaders, drive cost performance, optimize working capital, and enhance manufacturing efficiency. The role demands deep financial control, strategic advisory to Operations leadership, and strong collaboration with Procurement and Accounting functions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• 15+ years of progressive finance experience; 3–5 years as Operations Controller or equivalent in global manufacturing.
• Experience with manufacturing and international exposure (Asia/Latin America).
• CPA or MBA is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead plant finance teams and drive performance.
• Oversee cost accounting activities, standard costing, variance analysis, and inventory valuation.
• Lead budgeting and forecasting for manufacturing operations, including CAPEX/OPEX and COGS.
• Prepare and present reports on factory utilization, scrap/rework, overhead, and inventory turns.
• Ensure internal controls and compliance with corporate policies across manufacturing and supply chain.
• Analyze travel spending and assist with month-end travel expense reporting.
• Act as strategic financial consultant to Operations leadership for sourcing, capacity planning, and make-or-buy decisions.
• Evaluate CAPEX ROI and payback periods for expansion or equipment upgrades.
• Collaborate with Procurement, Accounting, and Finance; support global teams; manage time-zone related meetings.
• Occasional domestic and international travel.
