Job summary

Takeda is seeking an Associate Director, Scientific & Competitive Analysis in Global Oncology. This role partners with Commercial and R&D teams to deliver integrated CI insights across sources, guiding brand strategies and clinical development plans.

You will lead cross-functional teams, manage CI projects, and ensure consistency of CI assumptions across functions and regions. The position requires advanced CI expertise, strong leadership, and a track record in coordinating competitive landscape

Qualifications

BS in a life science; MS/MBA/PhD or equivalent, 7+ years in healthcare with pharma development exposure
Strong knowledge of CI techniques and information resources
Advanced CI processes, ethics and compliance knowledge
Experience leading cross-functional teams and influencing strategic decisions
Proven ability to synthesize primary and secondary CI data for strategic decisions

Responsibilities

Lead cross-functional teams to predict and plan CI-driven solutions for brands and pipeline
Develop competitive landscape analyses and integrated insights for commercial and R&D partners
Coordinate conferences' competitive coverage and deliver actionable intelligence to stakeholders
Collaborate with US and international market insights and forecasting teams for aligned strategic decisions
Drive CI projects from planning to execution with strong program management
