Job summary

Fortrea is seeking an Oncology Clinical Project Manager II or Sr Project Manager to lead global trials, with 3+ years of PM experience and a strong oncology background. You will drive the end-to-end lifecycle, manage budgets, timelines, and quality, and lead cross‑functional teams to deliver patient‑centric solutions.

Qualifications

• University/college degree life science preferred or related allied health profession.
• Fortrea may consider relevant and equivalent experience in lieu of educational requirements.
• Five (5+) years of clinical research experience in a pharmaceutical company/CRO.
• 3 years on clinical project management within a CRO or pharma.
• Strong oncology experience.
• Experience in End-to-End Clinical Trial Lifecycle project management or large-scale projects in other industries.
• Working knowledge of ICH Guidelines and GCP including international regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Take accountability for proactively driving project performance toward contracted deliverables while meeting customer needs and maintaining operational excellence.
• Take ownership of the customer relationship while drawing on the Company’s pool of experts.
• Lead the project strategy development and ensure prioritization with the project team and stakeholders in data-driven strategies and proactive management of scope, timelines, quality, and budget.
• Identify and manage project, financial and quality risks using risk management practices and quality by design principles.
• Oversee budgets, resources, scope, and forecast project revenue and costs within the budget; manage changes to scope and the change order process.
• Provide leadership to create high performing project teams and mentor team members.
