Job summary

IQVIA is seeking a Senior Clinical Lead to guide clinical delivery on large, multi-regional trials. You will work with cross-functional teams to meet regulatory requirements, monitor recruitment, and manage risk and finances to ensure on-time delivery.

The role requires 7+ years in clinical research, solid knowledge of ICH/GCP, and strong leadership. You will partner with Project Leaders and other functions to drive milestones and support business development efforts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in health care or other scientific discipline required.
• 7 years clinical research/monitoring experience or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• Consolidated knowledge of project management practices and terminology.
• Good knowledge of GCP/ICH regulatory requirements.
• Broad protocol knowledge and therapeutic knowledge.
• Understanding of the clinical research industry and various environments.
• Understanding of project finances.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements and trial conduct.

Responsibilities

• Ensure clinical delivery of assigned projects in compliance with regulatory requirements (ICH-GCP, protocol), customer requirements, and internal SOPs.
• Accountable for meeting recruitment targets and implementing recruitment strategies.
• Contribute to the development of project risk mitigation plans and manage clinical risks through the lifecycle.
• Ensure clinical quality delivery by defining standards and monitoring quality issues.
• Manage clinical aspects of project finances, including Estimate at Completion (EAC).
• Lead the clinical team to deliver large, global trials in collaboration with other leads.
• Identify stakeholder landscapes and manage internal and external stakeholders via effective communication.
• Support milestone achievements with the clinical team and report to stakeholders as required.
• Oversee resourcing and talent planning of the clinical team and provide project-related trainings.
• Conduct regular team meetings and provide feedback for professional development.
• Adopt corporate initiatives and act as a change advocate when needed.
• Contribute to clinical delivery strategy for business proposals and bid defense preparations.
• Mentor and coach new peers and support site visits as applicable.
