Job summary

Sport Alliance seeks a VP Onboarding to own the global onboarding function, setting standards, playbooks, and quality across markets. You will build the structure, leaders, and processes that enable fast, predictable go-lives at scale.

You will lead onboarding teams across Australia, the USA, Germany, and Poland, and collaborate with Sales on pipeline readiness and capacity planning, ensuring global consistency with local needs.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in Enterprise SaaS onboarding, implementation, or Technical CS with leadership.
• Experience scaling onboarding across multiple regions.
• Proven ability to lead distributed, multi-time-zone teams.
• Strong operational mindset and structured execution capability.
• Knowledge of platform configuration, data migration, API integrations, and workflows.
• Excellent stakeholder management with executive-level communication.
• Hands-on AI experience to drive operational impact.
• Familiarity with fitness or wellness platforms is advantageous.
• Excellent English; German language skills are a plus.

As we scale globally, we're looking for a leader who thrives on ownership and brings expertise to complex, cross-market challenges.

As VP Onboarding, you own our global onboarding function. You set the standards, playbooks, and quality bar every market delivers against, and lead onboarding teams across Australia, the USA, Germany, and Poland. You don't run individual implementations — you build the structure, the leaders, and the processes that make customer go-live fast and predictable at scale.

Your Responsibilities

• Own the global onboarding strategy, operating model, and quality standards.
• Define the global onboarding playbook and methodology that regional teams adapt and execute.
• Build, lead, and develop onboarding teams across Australia, the USA, Germany, and Poland, including regional leaders.
• Own the function's key metrics — go-live speed, onboarding quality, and capacity — and report performance regularly to leadership.
• Act as the senior escalation point for the most complex and at-risk enterprise onboardings.
• Partner with Sales on pipeline readiness and capacity planning.
• Balance global consistency with regional and customer-segment needs.
• Own the function's budget and resource planning.

What You'll Bring

• 8+ years of experience in Enterprise SaaS implementation, onboarding, or Technical Customer Success, including senior leadership experience.
• Proven success building and scaling an onboarding or implementation function, ideally across multiple regions.
• Experience leading distributed, multi-time-zone teams while developing managers and senior leaders.
• A strong operational mindset, with the ability to drive structured execution and continuous improvement.
• Solid understanding of platform configuration, data migration, API integrations, and customer workflows.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to communicate effectively with executive leaders and enterprise customers.
• Genuine, hands-on experience using AI to drive operational impact in a customer-facing or operations function.
• Experience with fitness, wellness, or membership platforms (e.g. Mindbody, ABC Fitness, Daxko, or similar) is a strong advantage.
• Excellent command of English is essential; German language skills are a strong plus.
• We offer a salary range of EUR 117,000 – EUR 140,000 gross per year.
• Final compensation will be based on experience, skills, and overall fit for the role.
