Job description

The AI orchestration of your wildest imagination.

n8n is the open workflow orchestration platform built for the new era of AI. We give technical teams the freedom of code with the speed of no-code, so they can automate faster, smarter, and without limits. Backed by a fiercely inventive community and 500+ builder-approved integrations, we’re changing the way people bring systems together and scale ideas for impact.

Since our founding in 2019, we’ve grown into a diverse team of over 260 - working across Europe and the US, connected by a shared builder spirit and with our centre of gravity in Berlin. Along the way, we’ve:

  • Cultivated a community of more than 650,000 active developers and builders

  • Earned 190K+ GitHub stars, making us one of the world’s Top 40 most popular projects

  • Backed by top investors, from Sequoia’s first German seed to our SAP's recent strategic investment - bringing us to a $5.2bn valuation

We’re in a defining moment of an incredible journey. Come and build with us.

As a Senior Customer Success Manager (High-Touch) for the German-speaking market, you will be the trusted post-sales partner for some of n8n’s most strategic enterprise customers. With a deliberately small book of business, you go deep: you learn each customer’s business, build relationships across their organization, and turn product usage into measurable outcomes and clear ROI.

You will own retention and expansion for your accounts, running a tight operating cadence of kickoffs, success plans, health checks, QBRs and renewals, while proactively managing risk and escalations.

In close partnership with Support, Solutions Engineering, Product and Sales, you turn technical success into durable revenue.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Own a small book of n8n’s largest, most strategic enterprise customers in the German-speaking market, acting as their primary post-sales partner across onboarding, adoption and renewal

  • Build an account strategy for each customer and a footprint across their organization, from IT and engineering teams to senior business and executive stakeholders

  • Own retention and expansion targets, driving renewals and growth (upsell/cross-sell) in partnership with Account Executives

  • Lead customer kickoffs and success planning, aligning stakeholders on goals, timelines, responsibilities and measurable outcomes

  • Drive onboarding and enablement for technical and business audiences, unblocking implementation and accelerating time-to-value

  • Run a strong operating cadence (health checks, exec syncs, QBRs), using usage and health data to proactively spot risks and manage escalations

  • Quantify and communicate business value throughout the lifecycle, building ROI narratives tied to adoption, outcomes and impact

  • Partner closely with Support, Solutions Engineering and Product to resolve blockers quickly and deliver a seamless customer experience

  • Provide structured, actionable customer feedback to Product and Engineering, and share what you learn with the wider CS team

REQUIREMENTS

German native speaker: You are a native German speaker with fluent business English, and you are based in Europe (Germany ideal; willing to travel to customers)

Senior Enterprise Customer Success experience: You’ve owned a small, strategic book of enterprise SaaS customers, going deep on each account, and can run kickoffs, onboardings and QBRs end-to-end

Revenue ownership: You’ve carried a retention and/or expansion target, know your KPIs, and have a track record of renewals and growth

Technical acumen: You lean toward the technical end of the CSM spectrum and can confidently engage with IT/engineering stakeholders (APIs, integrations, auth basics, environments), and you know when to bring in Support.

DACH enterprise experience: You’ve worked with large German-speaking enterprises (e.g. automotive, manufacturing, retail)

Commercial acumen & value mindset: You translate product usage into measurable outcomes, ROI and executive-ready business cases

Account strategy & operational rigor: You build account plans, a clear operating cadence and a footprint across large organizations, keeping stakeholders aligned with structure and follow-through

Senior stakeholder management: You communicate crisply with both builders and executives and are known for building durable, high-trust relationships

Builder mindset: You enjoy taking ownership and making an impact in fast-changing environments

Nice-to-haves

Automation + AI curiosity: You’ve used automation/AI tools (or iPaaS/workflow platforms) and can bring ideas that improve customer value realization

Familiarity with n8n or similar tools: Prior exposure to workflow automation/integration platforms helps you ramp faster

Startup/scale-up experience: You’ve operated in high-growth environments and enjoy “build the plane while flying it” work

Technical or STEM education: Degree or equivalent training in a technical field is a plus (Computer Science, Engineering etc.)

Multi-region experience: You’ve worked with global enterprise accounts across EMEA/US time zones and complex stakeholder groups
