LyondellBasell Industries in Houston is seeking a Global Olefins Process Engineer to provide technical leadership for Olefins and Hydrocarbons plants on a global basis. The role focuses on recommending and implementing strategic opportunities to improve unit performance and collaborating with unit specialists and other engineers on capital projects.

Qualifications

Four-year Engineering degree in Chemical or Electrical preferred.
Typically 10+ years of relevant experience.
Working knowledge of industrial process control systems (TDC 3000, Experion, Integrity, IP.21, Optimizer, DMC3, HMI web-based graphics, Windows OS).
Good organizational and communication skills, as well as MS Office proficiency.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team.

Responsabilités

Effectively communicate with Site Management and Senior LYB Management on capital projects and goals.
Provide technical leadership on capital projects.
Lead Technical Network sub teams to meet annual objectives.
Maintain/improve Olefins Excellence models and process safety performance.
Support design calculations and verify equipment and system performance.
Mentor less experienced engineers and travel as needed.
