Laufer Group International, headquartered in New York with multiple offices, seeks a dedicated Logistics Booking professional in Kent, WA. You will manage pricing, quoting, and booking activities for international shipments, coordinating with carriers and clients to ensure accurate rates and timely bookings.

The role requires strong communication, pricing knowledge, and the ability to work in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Qualifications

• Preferred up to 1 year of professional experience within pricing, quoting and booking in the transportation/supply chain field.
• Strong geographical awareness and experience routing international cargo.
• Understanding of ocean carrier services and operations.
• Understanding of international transportation pricing practices.
• Ability to negotiate with agents, carriers and domestic vendors.

Responsibilities

• Communicates with the client to understand shipment specifications and pricing.
• Creates a quote in Laufer’s quote systems and requests feedback from client.
• Reviews quotes prior to contracting and ensures rates filed with FMC.
• Books with ocean carrier and tracks critical dates for bookings.
• Cross references information to identify discrepancies in the booking process.
• Arrange for trucking if required.
