Job Title

Global Occupier Services (GOS) Financial Controller, APAC


Job Description Summary

Lead financial controllership resource for the GOS Business Unit in the APAC region with oversight in ensuring corporate financial data and reporting is complete, accurate and complies with Global, Regional and Local polices, processes, and regulation. The role is responsible for all aspects of GOS APAC financial controllership, including monthly close processes, ongoing financial reporting, revenue recognition, statutory reporting requirements, intercompany activity, and other financial compliance matters. Success in the role will require a self-starter able to scope, develop and run sustainable processes with a variety of stakeholders including corporate controllership resources, GOS client-dedicated finance resources, and shared service center resources located in Manila.


About You


  • Monthly Financial Close & Reporting: Ensure timely and accurate US GAAP-based closings, manage reporting deliverables, resolve aged items, and collaborate with Manila shared services and on-account finance teams.

  • Revenue Recognition: Develop and execute contract review processes aligned with Global/APAC policies, ensuring proper documentation and control across business and finance teams.

  • Balance Sheet Integrity: Establish reconciliation routines, support aged debt reduction and DSO targets, and ensure provisions are recorded per policy.

  • Intercompany Transactions: Implement reconciliation processes, ensure proper documentation and timely invoicing, and resolve mismatches in line with global policies.

  • Audits, Statutory Reporting & Compliance: Act as regional audit contact, assist in statutory account preparation, enforce SOX controls, and drive implementation of financial policies and internal controls.


About the Role


  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA or equivalent designation strongly preferred.

  • Financial Experience: Minimum 10 years in progressive accounting or financial management, with expertise in US GAAP, IFRS, and SOX compliance.

  • Operational Expertise: Proven ability to manage month-end close across multiple jurisdictions via shared services, with strong knowledge of statutory accounts, audits, and intercompany processes; APAC exposure preferred.

  • Industry Background: Experience in commercial real estate or similar professional services is preferred.

  • Leadership & Communication Skills: Demonstrated capability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced, matrixed environment, with strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
