Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine is seeking a Senior Director of Global Neuroscience Communications & Public Affairs to shape and lead the external communications strategy for our Neuroscience portfolio. The role reports to Neuroscience Communications & Public Affairs leadership and serves as a senior advisor to scientific leadership.

This hybrid role prefers Raritan, NJ but Titusville, NJ or Spring House, PA may be considered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years of experience in communications, public affairs, or related external engagement roles
• Significant experience leading communications for complex global pharmaceutical portfolios
• Ability to advise senior business/scientific leaders and manage crises in regulated environments

Responsibilities

• Lead development and execution of a comprehensive global communications strategy for the Neuroscience portfolio
• Advise Neuroscience leadership on external positioning, risk assessment, and stakeholder engagement
• Shape global narratives across disease areas, products, and platforms with clear differentiation
• Oversee communications for launches, data readouts, lifecycle milestones, and growth brands
• Partner with Public Affairs to support policy and access strategies and improve operating environment
• Guide integrated planning across media, issues, congresses, and executive visibility
• Align with regional leaders to adapt global strategy locally in Top 10 markets
• Anticipate and manage reputational risks with Enterprise and regional teams
• Build strong relationships with media, experts, advocates, and policy influencers
• Lead and develop a high-performing Neuroscience communications team
