Job summary

Amazon is seeking software development engineers to join the Network Monitoring and Remediation team within AWS Infrastructure Services in Seattle.

Design, build, and operate distributed services at global scale; own your services end-to-end—from architecture and implementation through deployment and production operations. Mentor teammates and drive improvements in reliability and latency.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non‑internship software development experience.
• 2+ years of design or architecture experience for large-scale systems.
• 1+ years in distributed software applications or services.
• 1+ years with OO design and at least one programming language.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate distributed services at global scale.
• Own services end-to-end from architecture through production operations.
• Identify and drive improvements to reliability, latency, and operational posture.
• Contribute to engineering standards, code reviews, and technical direction.
• Mentor junior engineers and uphold high engineering quality.
