Job summary

Google LLC in Moncks Corner, SC is seeking a Network Implementation Engineer to lead deployment, maintenance, and operations of private data networks worldwide. You will collaborate with Technical Program Managers, Network Engineers, Design and Infrastructure Engineers, and Field Engineers across Google and partner vendors to position the team for success.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Network or Telecom Engineering or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
3 years of experience in DWDM or TCP/IP or system design operations methodology.

Responsibilities

Oversee and audit installation technicians for rack, stack and installation of networking equipment.
Commission and test routers, optical transport equipment, and other network devices in new and existing network nodes across Google’s global network.
Generate implementation plans and provide technical leadership and guidance during deployment activities.
Work with project management and engineering teams to identify potential problems in network installations and escalate when needed.
Own network documentation, updating and maintaining network drawings and plans.
